a bit of research

I'm writing a story about a teenager whose parents are lesbians. Just to see what sperm banks are like, I'm looking at one on the internet. It's weird the things they mention. They've got the basics like ethnicity, eye color, height, and then they've got things like interests and jobs. As if an RN who likes hiking and photography is better than the student that likes jousting and RPGs. It makes me laugh a bit, but I guess people still think everything is inheritable. Like bipolar disorder, or AIDS, or something like that. Which is why I will probably never have a kid. I don't want them to be like me.
